Made in 1948, this radio uses
five tubes and receives AM.
When I first spotted this miserable thing in my favorite flea market, I passed it up. Later on the seller was obviously wanting to get rid of his junk, so he dramatically lowered his price on this radio to just a few bucks. Since the parts are at least worth that, it followed me home. I ended up dontaing this to the silent auction at the May 2009 IHRS swap meet.
